Oh, and I started walking at 8 and a half months...

At first, I took two steps when I was at Mothers Group one day, I just really wanted my drink bottle and Mum hadn't worked that out so I had to take some initiative of my own. I didn't really look back from there and each day I would do more and more steps.

How embarrassing, I can't believe Mum is posting this photo. But I found some of her lingerie in the living room and managed to put it on. I couldn't work out how to get my arms through, but I got the over the head part right.
I was so pleased with myself, I had to give me a clap

Feeding Time at the Zoo

Mum seems to think that I need a bigger bib...And she started talking about arm restraints so that I cannot run my hands and fingers through my food, my hair, my clothes, my face....
Now I don't see too much wrong with this picture (except for having to wear a cape like I do at the hairdressers??), but Mum & Dad seem to have a problem with the pocket on my cape....look closer, that's where I stash food that I don't want to put in my mouth!!!!

My Tricks

I can play pee-a-boo, but I'm not too good at hiding my eyes. I just pull my hands up above my eyes and wait for Mum to say "Where's Jock?" and then I pull my hands down really really slowly waiting for Mum to say "Boo"!I love making a noise with my hand and my mouth, it goes something like alalalalalalalalala....
Clapping is one of those tricks that has taken me some time to master. Our swimming lessons the other week got me started...

Now we can't forget pointing! Mum does it lots and says stuff like "don't you.....", I cannot remember the rest!

I love Thomas

Toot, toot! I have been awaiting the arrival of this little train since before I was born! Mum & Dad kept it up high in the cupboard until such time as I would appreciate it and boy do I ever! Well, most of the time! It's times like these that I'm a little unsure
This little train brings me so much fun and I can hardly wait until my first birthday party - then I can try out a few more train rides!!

The Park

Mum takes me to the park almost everyday, but I don't usually get to stay too long as Mum seems to be on a mission - walking, walking, walking! This day however, I got to go for a whole 2 hours and I spent it with my friend Riley - here we are on the xylophone!Riley was so good at sharing...
I was not so good!
The park was so much fun, it had a solar powered piano, a sandpit, swings and some really cool spinning things
I was so good, so hopefully Mum will take me back again sometime for a long play!

My First Haircut

My first haircut went really well and it was definitely overdue! Mum and I put on a cape and then I sat on her lap and ate my rusk while the hairdresser cut away at my curls. We have kept all my curls in an envelope - just as well, because there are less and less curls these days.

Out to Dinner

Charlie & I are not quite big enough to sit on 'big people' chairs, so we were put at the end of the table in these funny white chairs that strapped us in. I'm so glad Charlie is not a big person and could keep me company. Dad also kept good company during the evening and must have been having a very intense conversation with the two of us according to this next photo...
Uncle Roger was copying us at poking tongues, what a shame that Mum didn't click the camera at the right time and get all of us sticking our tongues out!
It was my Great Nan's and Great, Great Aunt's last night with us so we went to tea at Hog's Breath. I got to have some curly fries (I wasn't really fussed on the carrot that Dad gave me and I put on such a turn that he gave in and passed over the chippies)
Once I was out of my chair it was a struggle to get me back in - I just wanted to have cuddles with everyone

Sandcastles

Dad helped build a few sand castles for me at the beach My friend Jack would have loved to join me but he's a bit too little yet
I'm starting to be surrounded
Now I am surrounded... Escaping...

Pirates!

This is where all little pirates should be - at the beach! We went to Tweed Heads for my first beach encounter with Mum & Dad
My friend Sophie loved the waves, but I was a bit unsure of their noise
It was a bit scary
